Supporting the troops

Go to AnySoldier.com

The AnySoldier Mission enables a direct and personal method to contact and send boxes and letters to U.S. soldiers, Marines, sailors or airmen serving overseas. At regularly-scheduled packing sessions, volunteers pack boxes for military units based on their unique needs and requests.

Particular attention is given to service personnel who are in remote locations, do not receive mail, or who provide humanitarian aid to schools, hospitals, orphanages or villages.

Click one of the following boxes for further detail.

As of June 28, the Anysoldier project, the Anysoldier mission has packed a total of 1,357 boxes weighing 21,027 pounds. The boxes were mailed to 956 military units representing 32,375 military personnel in Afghanistan, Bahrain, Columbia, Djibouti, Iraq, Kosovo, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, The Philippines, Qatar, Serbia, and the United Arab Emirates.

1,139 people have now packed boxes, and 2,491 people have written letters.

The next 'open' packing session is July 19, 2008, 9:30 to 11:30am.  In addition to club, organizations or group packing sessions, 'open packing sessions' are held to accommodate families and individuals who want to support our troops overseas.
